About The Hot Sardines
The Hot Sardines, a musical ensemble that epitomizes timeless quality through their vibrant interpretations of classic tunes. Led by pianist Evan Palazzo and vocalist Elizabeth Bougerol, this New York-based group infuses old favorites with new life, blending brassy horn arrangements, lively piano melodies, and captivating vocals.

Their latest album, "French Fries & Champagne," showcases their versatility by seamlessly blending covers and originals, evoking the ambiance of New York speakeasies, Parisian cabarets, and New Orleans jazz halls. One of their signature strengths lies in reinventing classics; for instance, they transform Rodgers & Hammerstein's "People Will Say We’re In Love" into a tangy tango and put a fresh spin on Robert Palmer's "Addicted To Love" with Elizabeth's cool vocals and hot horn arrangements.

Among their notable original tracks is "Gramercy Sunset," an instrumental homage to Evan's old neighborhood, and "Here You Are Again," a country-leaning piece written by Elizabeth. Their lineup includes talented musicians such as trumpeter Jason Prover, drummer Alex Raderman, saxophonist and clarinetist Nick Myers, and trombonist and cornetist Mike Sailors.

The Hot Sardines have captivated audiences worldwide, drawing a diverse fanbase ranging from young enthusiasts in New York City to multi-generational attendees across the country. Their infectious energy and innovative approach to jazz have solidified their place in the hot jazz movement, proving that great music transcends time and resonates across generations.
