The Learning Garden at Pinecrest Gardens

Located near the Playground and Zoo, the Sensory and Learning garden is a dynamic outdoor classroom serving the purpose of teaching, inspiring, and facilitating discovery in nature. This sensory friendly garden is accessible to those of all ability and provides a space for discovery through visitor engagement.

Newly opened in the Upper Garden, the Learning Garden is a hub for educational programs that welcomes field trips, workshops, drop in and scheduled programs. The Learning Garden also encourages discovery through self-guided nature play by providing a welcoming, safe, and engaging experience for visitors of all ages. Spend time engaging the senses with delicious edible plants, herbs, and tactile plantings or observe butterflies dancing among the pollinator friendly plantings. Come learn and grow with us!
