XAVIER CORTADA, GUEST ARTIST

Xavier Cortada has worked with groups globally to produce numerouscollaborative art projects, including environmental installations, peacemurals, child welfare murals, AIDS murals and eco-art projects. Cortadahas created art for the White House, the World Bank, the Museum of FloridaHistory, the Florida Botanical Gardens and countless other entities to raiseawareness and spur social action to protect and preserve our environment. Xavier was also the first Artist-in-Residence at Pinecrest Gardens.

PILAR ANDUJAR, GUEST PHOTOGRAPHER

Since 2012, Pilar Andujar has been creating striking art portraits that reveal the unique essence, vulnerability, and beauty of her subjects. Her award-winning eye and refined technique transform each presence into a powerful image. In Spring 2026, Pinecrest Gardens will feature her portraits in a collaborative community project titled Women of South Florida, a photography study celebrating mothers, sisters, and daughters through magazine-inspired and fine art portraits. Pilar’s work has garnered multiple Portrait Master Awards, including four Bronze awards with distinction, recognizing her work and talent in capturing the spirit and story of her subjects through her lens.
