At the center of the Gardens is the Meadow, the hub of activity and events for use throughout the season. Surrounding the meadow is the Dry Garden, Historic Colonnade Garden and the Banyan Tree Garden which is just off the Banyan Bowl. This focal point allows visitors to feel fully immersed in the beauty of the botanical foliage during events and act as open locations for art exhibitions and festivals.
Visitors can find opportunities to enjoy the sun and spots to sit and take in the greenery and water features. The Colonnade is where visitors can find prominent features within the Garden Croton collection, ranging from various colors and shapes. Just past the Meadow, visitors have access to the Lakeview Terrace and Upper Gardens area. Walking past the Banyan Tree, the Splash N’ Play area is open for children every day until 4:00pm. Hours for Splash N’ Play and Garden operations varies with changes in campus wide events. Please view Gardens webpage, calendar and socials for updated campus hours.
