ADULT LEARNING – WELLNESS INTO FOCUS

Pinecrest Gardens and JMW coaching are introducing a new wellness series this fall focusing on guided reflection and personal growth. For many people midlife is a powerful transition marked by shifting roles—from empty nesting and career pivots to caring for aging parents. This four-week workshop, based on Jennifer Warren Medwin’s Brave Bites Forward I.M.P.A.C.T Method, offers an intentional space to move from emotional overload to purposeful action.

Weekly Curriculum

  • Week 1: Intentional Awareness - We begin by naming the "heavy" emotions. Through guided reflection, participants identify the structures of identity that are unraveling and learn to validate their current experience without judgment.
  • Week 2: Mindfulness & Small Group Connection- Breaking the silence of midlife isolation. By sharing experiences in a supportive community, women find relief in realizing they are not alone, allowing shame to soften and clarity to emerge.
  • Week 3: Personal Power: Reconnecting with the Inner Landscape- Using somatic and reflective tools, participants rediscover dormant parts of themselves—such as creativity, curiosity, and self-trust—to determine what truly matters in this next chapter.
  • Week 4: Adaptability & Community: Aligned Action- Participants learn to take “Brave Bites”: small, intentional steppingstones that move them forward energetically and mentally. We conclude by creating a personalized roadmap for showing up with resolve.

Participants will leave feeling grounded and centered, equipped with a framework to navigate transition with self-compassion. Move beyond simply "coping" and begin creating your own unfolding.
