Fronted by the elegant vocals of Barcelona-born Laura Vall, this worldly quartet blends lively samba, danceable Latin grooves, and classic bossa nova. With over 105 million YouTube views, Baila Nova has won over audiences across the globe, and on February 27, they bring that magic to Pinecrest Gardens.

About Baila Nova

Originally formed in Los Angeles in 2011 as NOVA, the band adopted the name Baila Nova after their first European tour in 2023 to reflect their evolving sound: more danceable, more alive, while staying rooted in Bossa Nova tradition. The quartet draws its worldly identity from its members' diverse backgrounds: Vall is from Barcelona, guitarist David Irelan is from Oregon, bassist Thomas Hjorth is Danish, and drummer Papagni is from California. Over more than a decade of releases and touring, Baila Nova has built a devoted global following and amassed over 105 million YouTube views, proof that the warmth and joy of Brazilian music transcends all borders.
