On Saturday, April 3, Miami's own Cortadito brings that world to life in the Banyan Bowl with a tribute to the legendary Buena Vista Social Club.

About Cortadito

Named after Miami’s favorite caffeinated pick-me-up and voted "Best Latin Act 2019" by Miami New Times, Cortadito plays a mix of son montuno, guaracha, boleros, nengon, and bolero son that transports audiences to the era when Trio Matamoros and Ignacio Piñeiro ruled the Cuban music world. Founded by bandleader Jose Elias after a 12-year stint with Conjunto Progreso that earned him a GRAMMY nomination for his participation in the album "Masters of Cuban Son," this dynamic Miami-based ensemble has shared the stage with world-renowned flutist Nestor Torres, opened for legendary Cuban pianist Chucho Valdés, and toured with Eliades Ochoa of the Buena Vista Social Club.

Set in the lush, tropical Banyan Bowl Amphitheater, Cortadito's tribute to the Buena Vista Social Club promises an evening of joy. Dance in the aisles, feel the rhythm, and let the music take you somewhere beautiful.
