Fourth Annual Pinecrest Gardens Environmental Contest: Stickwork Discovery!
The Pinecrest Gardens Fourth annual environmental contest “Art of the Garden- Stickwork Discovered” begins Sunday, October 15th 12 noon (Eastern Time) and ends Monday, January 15th, 2017 12:01 a.m. This year, we have partnered with our on-site Art Immersion Venture, hARTvest Project, and their Teens Art Collectors Club (TACC) to present a photography contest. The contest is inspired by our newest art exhibition, Patrick Dougherty’s Stickwork. The Stickwork exhibition in Pinecrest Gardens was built on site using local natural materials, and aims to inspire visitors of the whimsical curiosity that nature provides. All entries must be submitted by the contest deadline. Late entries to the contest will not be accepted. Winners will be announced on Thursday, January 18th at 6:30pm at the gallery opening and award ceremony. The Gallery opening will take place in Cypress Hall at Pinecrest Gardens. All entrants to the contest are invited to attend the reception, finalists are required to attend. Art will be put on display in our Cypress Hall Gallery and will remain on display for the Pinecrest Gardens Fine Arts Festival through Sunday, January 22th.
